Starfix is an appliance repair company specializing in fixing major household appliances and brands. It was founded on the intent to provide you with only the best in customer service when it comes to fixing your home’s appliances.
Our scientific backgrounds, combined with prior education and experience, have given us the tools, knowledge, and skills to best understand the inner workings of each appliance’s machinery and problems with them that may occur. No matter how old or new your appliances may be, or what brands your home contains, we’re confident in our abilities to get the repair job done fast and done well.

Our refrigerator was too warm and the freezer working OT. The service tech (John) did have to make two visits, but both were prompt and easy for me, the owner. The service tech was informative and effective. Pricing was about what I was expecting.

John, the owner/operator of Starfix Appliances in Langley is very personable, highly professional and able to repair just about anything (actually, it maybe everything - I am electing to err on the side of caution!) He works tidily, thoroughly and quickly - testing everything completely. John patiently simplifies and explains all of the tests and the results before presenting his repair options. He patiently discusses and explains the benefits of each course of action. Thank goodness he even works after normal business hours! John is not only a small, local business owner but he is a dedicated family man (who also happens to have a PhD in Chemistry, just FYI!) As I write these lines our 11 year old Whirlpool fridge is working perfectly! I would highly recommend John @ Starfix Appliances in Langley! I am keeping his contact number very handy! I regret not calling him sooner instead of wasting my time trying to do iNet research and then attempting unsuccessfully to fix the mystery problem myself. I ended up having to throw out so much food! It probably cost me as much or more money for wasted food than the total amount of John’s invoice! I found Starfix’s rates to be reasonable and appropriate. John, himself, is very like-able and his work is flawless! Cheers! Dale

John is the technician that attends to service calls. He’s very knowledgeable and skilled in the job. Provides quote for diagnosing the problem and another quote for repair. He provides 90-day guarantee for all repairs and parts replacement.

Great service! John is great and professional. Our landlords booked him in as our dishwasher wasn’t working properly. John came and was professional and definitely knew his craft. He found the issue, where a pump wasn’t working. He informed us that a new pump was needed. While we were on the phone filling our landlord in, John went ahead and double checked the pump making sure it was broken and not just something stuck in there. He took the entire pump out and checked it, and sure enough, it was just clogged. We were able to tell our landlords it was fixed, saving them either $500 in repairs/labour or a new dishwasher! Such great customer service, and doing the extra due diligence to make sure he didn’t miss anything means these guys would be my first call, hands down, in any other similar situation. Thanks again for the amazing service!

John arrived at my home almost a week ago to fix the freezer portion of my refrigerator/freezer appliance. I was impressed from the get-go, because he arrived earlier than his stated time window. As it turned out, the repairs on the appliance did not return the unit to full working order. So I contacted John and he was immediately receptive: Over the course of the week, John worked tirelessly and diligently to come up with a concrete and detailed 'game plan' for the next steps required to fix my appliance, at no extra charge. My refrigerator/freezer is now as good as new, and I am more than happy. I recommend John without hesitation. I feel like I've gained a friend. Thank you, John, for everything 🙂

Very happy with John's work. He is honest and very good technician.
He fixed our Fisher Paykel double drawer dishwasher. It was very difficult to troubleshoot the problem and took sometime to find the problem, but John did not not give up on and fixed it at no extra cost to us.
He also gave me honest opinion on our washer problem that helped us make right decision to weather to fix it or buy a new one.
I highly recommend John and Starfix Appliance repair service.

I needed to repair my dishwasher. Starfix was super efficient, professional, and the price was very reasonable! They sent two techs. The first tech didn’t have the part but was able to arrange for the part the same day. He was clear about the pricing and next steps. The second tech came shortly afterwards. I was in meetings but they provided me the option to pay after via e-transfer. Super seamless. Highly recommend!

We found John to be exceptional with the service provided with our dishwasher repair. Very professional, thorough with both checking the dishwasher for the problem and explaining the issue, on time and thorough clean up on completion. Prices are very reasonable. John was very responsive to messages and came immediately to repair our refrigerator. He examined it thoroughly and listened to our concerns, after which he concluded that two parts must be replaced. He explained every step of the way and conducted his service in a highly professional manner. A week later it seemed like the issue hasn't been resolved, we contacted John again and again he came immediately to fix it with no additional charge. I would definitely recommend his service to others.
