About Beaumark appliances
Beaumark was a Canadian house brand sold through The Bay, with the appliances built by established manufacturers — most often Camco, the Canadian GE affiliate, and later others. The brand is no longer sold, but plenty of Beaumark machines are still working in Lower Mainland homes.
Because Beaumark never built anything itself, the useful question is who did. The model and serial plate identifies the real manufacturer, and from there the parts and the service procedure are whatever that maker used.
What tends to fail, in our experience
- Lid switches and belts on laundry
- Timer assemblies on mechanically controlled machines
- Heating elements on dryers and ranges
- Door gaskets on fridges
- Obsolete control parts, the main limiting factor on a discontinued brand
Why our team is comfortable with Beaumark
Trained on the systems that matter
- Sealed-system and compressor work, so a fridge that is not cooling does not automatically become a replacement
- Gas-certified technicians on staff for gas Beaumark cooking appliances — a BC licence requirement, not an optional extra
- Direct-drive and belt-drive laundry, including bearing, suspension and drive faults
- We read service modes and stored fault history, not just the code on the front panel
Parts, and first-visit repairs
- We carry the common Beaumark wear parts — pumps, locks, sensors, elements and belts — on the van
- That stock is why roughly 90% of our jobs finish on the first visit
- Anything we do not carry is ordered the same day from Lower Mainland distributors
- Every repair carries a 90-day parts and labour warranty
Built on the Camco / GE and other OEMs platform
Beaumark was a retailer brand, not a manufacturer. Most were built by Camco, the Canadian GE affiliate. We read the data plate to identify the real builder, because that determines which parts fit. The badge on the front tells us nothing useful.
Beaumark repair — common questions
Beaumark is gone. Can you still fix mine?
Usually. The machine was built by someone else, most often Camco or GE, and those parts are frequently still available. We identify the builder from the data plate first.
Is it worth repairing at this age?
If the fault is mechanical, often yes, because these machines are simple. If it is a discontinued electronic control, we will tell you honestly that it is the end of the road.
How much does the repair cost?
You get a firm quote after diagnosis and you approve it before any work starts. If we cannot fix the appliance, you do not pay.
Do you cover my area?
We cover Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, from West Vancouver through to Agassiz, seven days a week between 8am and 8pm.
