About Dacor appliances
Dacor is a California luxury brand that Samsung acquired in 2016. Older Dacor appliances are entirely their own design; newer ones increasingly share Samsung engineering and electronics, which has improved parts availability considerably.
That split matters for repair. A pre-2016 Dacor is a specialist machine with its own parts chain; a current model often shares components and diagnostic behaviour with Samsung's premium line. We check the age and model before quoting.
What tends to fail, in our experience

Built on the Samsung (2016 onward) platform
Samsung acquired Dacor in 2016. Newer models share Samsung engineering and electronics, which has made parts easier to get. Pre-2016 units are Dacor's own design and some control boards are now hard to source, so we confirm the model year before quoting.

Is Dacor owned by Samsung?
Yes, since 2016. Newer Dacor appliances share a good deal of Samsung engineering, which has improved parts availability. Older units are a different proposition.
Can you still fix a pre-2016 Dacor oven?
Usually. Mechanical parts and sensors are generally available; the risk is a discontinued control board, and we will tell you straight away if that is what has failed.
How much does the repair cost?
You get a firm quote after diagnosis and you approve it before any work starts. If we cannot fix the appliance, you do not pay.

We cover Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, from West Vancouver through to Agassiz, seven days a week between 8am and 8pm.
