About Bosch appliances
Bosch is the German engineering brand most Lower Mainland homeowners know for dishwashers, and with good reason: its dishwashers are consistently among the quietest on the market and use a condensation drying system with no exposed heating element in the tub.
Bosch builds for a long service life and parts remain available far longer than the industry norm. The trade-off is that Bosch appliances are tightly packaged, so jobs that are quick on a North American machine can take longer, which is exactly why it helps to have a technician who has done them before.
What tends to fail, in our experience
- AquaStop tripping on dishwashers, shown as E15, usually from a slow leak into the base pan
- Drain pumps and check valves blocked by debris, shown as E24
- Flow-through heaters on dishwashers, shown as E09

Bosch repair — common questions
My Bosch dishwasher shows E15 and will not start. What is that?
Water has reached the base pan and the AquaStop float has tripped to prevent a flood. The water needs removing and the leak found, which is often a small split in a hose or a seal rather than anything catastrophic.
Is it worth repairing an older Bosch dishwasher?
Usually more so than other brands. Bosch build quality and long parts availability mean a twelve-year-old machine is often worth a repair that would not be worth doing on a cheaper unit.
Why is my Bosch dishwasher not drying?
Bosch uses condensation drying rather than a heating element, so plastics stay damp by design. If everything is coming out wet, it is usually rinse aid or the heater circuit.
How much does the repair cost?
You get a firm quote after diagnosis and you approve it before any work starts. If we cannot fix the appliance, you do not pay.
