About Sharp appliances
Sharp is a Japanese electronics manufacturer whose appliance presence in Canada is focused and distinctive. Its microwave drawer is the product most Lower Mainland homeowners know: a microwave that slides out of the cabinetry below the counter instead of sitting above the range.
Sharp also builds steam and convection ovens and a small dishwasher range. These are electronics-led appliances, so faults tend to be in controls, sensors and door mechanisms rather than in heavy mechanical parts.

My Sharp microwave drawer will not open. Is that fixable?
Usually. The drawer mechanism and the door switches are the normal culprits and both are serviceable parts. The unit generally needs to come out of the cabinetry to reach them.
Do you repair microwaves?
We service the drawer mechanism, controls and door systems on built-in microwave drawers. High-voltage magnetron work is assessed case by case and we will be clear about whether it is economic.
How much does the repair cost?
You get a firm quote after diagnosis and you approve it before any work starts. If we cannot fix the appliance, you do not pay.
