About Viking appliances
Viking brought commercial-style cooking into domestic kitchens and still builds heavy, all-metal ranges with very high burner outputs. In the Lower Mainland they appear in higher-end homes, often as part of a professional-look kitchen.
Viking appliances are heavily built and generally repairable, but they are also heavy, gas-fired and often built in. Gas models require a licensed gas fitter in BC, and the weight of a Viking range means moving it for service is a two-person job.

Viking ranges are substantially heavier than domestic equivalents and most in this region are gas. BC requires a licensed gas fitter for gas work, and we have gas-certified technicians on staff, so the job gets completed rather than handed off.
