About Electrolux appliances
Electrolux is the Swedish group behind Frigidaire, AEG and Westinghouse, and it sells its own premium line in Canada. In the Lower Mainland it turns up most often as laundry pairs and counter-depth French-door refrigerators in newer homes.
Electrolux and Frigidaire are the same platforms underneath, with Electrolux carrying the better components and finish. That means the fault language is identical and parts are generally well supported.

Electrolux repair — common questions
Is Electrolux the same as Frigidaire?
Same parent and largely the same platforms, with Electrolux positioned above. For repair purposes the diagnostics are identical, which helps parts availability.
My Electrolux washer will not start and the door stays unlocked. What is it?
Usually the door lock assembly. It is a common wear part on front-loaders and a straightforward replacement.
How much does the repair cost?
You get a firm quote after diagnosis and you approve it before any work starts. If we cannot fix the appliance, you do not pay.
